Each of the electrical tech and electrical engineering positions we have available at Knobelsdorff require a different level of education and experience. Here's a brief look at what we're looking for from our applicants for each position.
Controls Engineer with Experience
For Controls Engineer applicants, the degree you have is not as important as your experience. Our controls applicants typically have two-year tech school degrees in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation and Control Technology or something along that line.
The right candidates for our Electrical AutoCAD Designer openings will have completed two years of vocational school in Electrical Design and Drafting Techniques. Of course, if you're currently enrolled and a few credits away from finishing and have relevant experience or if you have practical experience with AutoCAD Electrical, I encourage you to apply.
Our ideal candidate for our Electrical Engineer jobs in Minnesota are individuals with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. However, if you are nearing the end of your program and/or if your education and experience are engineering-related and you have an electrical/industrial background and the experience to go along with it, let us know you're interested.
As you can see, each of our electrical tech positions is specialized in some way and require a different set of skills, experience and education. This means employees grow their skill sets in the direction they're passionate about.
