Today, I'll be introducing you to Rich, our Controls Manager. Prior to joining our company, Rich worked as a subcontractor, and he hadn't found a company where he wanted to build his career. But he saw something different at Knobelsdorff.
When I asked Rich why he enjoys his work here, the top two things that came up were how organized things are internally and the company's reputation.
On organization, Rich had this to say: "Things stay organized. I've seen and heard about other outfits where there's a sort of 'leave it for the next guy' mentality, and that just isn't something we deal with here. Everyone understands the role they play in a project, and they don't just think about their part. They also think about the next person."
"Because we keep things organized on the inside, it shows up in the quality of work our clients see. They know that by having Knobelsdorff on the job that things are going to be done right the first time around. It really means something to work for a company with a strong reputation in its industry and in the community."
Rich is responsible for managing the controls department here at Knobelsdorff. He makes sure each member of his team has the resources and information to get their work done. Right now he has three people on his team, and he's looking to add a couple more. Specifically, he's looking to fill these electrical engineer tech jobs: Electrical AutoCAD Designers and Controls Engineers.
Rich is looking for applicants who are tech-savvy and able to easily understand software. Individuals with experience in electrical design will be given priority, but anyone who fits the requirements of the positions will be considered.
If you're great with computers, a strong communicator and a quick learner, we encourage you to apply:
